Well I don't conform .... take the reivers
stance ... since love and peace doesn't
work.
I've sent numerouis letters of protest to
Govt, local and national - to try and stop or
prevent the vandalism / desecration and
concreting of our native land. |

not testing Angel, probing.
Seems to me that the term has a lot of
relevance in the current clime. Cos all the
things that used to be dismissed as being
"hippy" and "left of field" are now
mainstream and urgent. Do you think that is
worth exploring? |

I was a hippy in the era of the hippies. We
didn't bother a lot about uniformity and
suchlike. We just relaxed, really, and wore
yellow jeans and looked gormless... |

my mum was a hippy... it was all about living
in communes, cheap living, eating lentils,
sharing babysitting duties etc
I quite like the hippy ethos - I'd say these
days people are reverting to the hippy ways
by dropping out of the rat race and becoming
self-sufficient. |

Cotton things that you sewed onto your jeans
with maybe 'Ban The Bomb' slogans or a
picture of a happy looking moggie and the
words 'Happiness is a warm [censored]" etc |

I think the Geography teachers put patches on
to prevent poking their elbows through their
cardies causing the need to put patches on
'em.
Other popular splash-patch motifs were
American military insignia and Mary-Jane
leaves.
I didn't realize they were still around,
Marydoll. |

Question everything and question it smart,
ever hear that one zoo zog? Think global, act
local. The statement was a carry over from
the fifties and adopted into hippi
philosophy.
Only those that think they are old are old.
Adopted to hippi philosophy 1990.
