There's some tame cows near me .... young
ones who suck your fingers - have long purple
tongues - they're real fond of my dog .....
amazing beasts ....
Could never eat them .... |

No smell - but very messy - had also to
inject iodine onto the lamb - and some stuff
down its throat ....
Me pal let me have a go - who was a shepherd
.... he was doing it all night - and i just
popped round.
At tea break - he didn't even wash his hands
- just ate his sandwiches in the barn .. YUK |

Cattle, colloquially referred to as cows, are
domesticated ungulates, a member of the
subfamily Bovinae of the family Bovidae. They
are raised as livestock for meat (called beef
and veal), dairy products (milk), leather and
as draft animals (pulling carts, plows and
the like). In some countries, such as India,
they are honored in religious ceremonies and
revered. It is estimated that there are 1.3
billion cattle in the world today.[1]

Hi Sawney - who wrote that poem? I always
thought it was Willaim Macgonagal - but I
might be wrong.
Yeah - cows go a bit stupid as they grow up -
but not as dumb as sheep go. |

you're prob right, Reiver. My Granddad used
to say that (above) as a joke.
I reckon McGonagall should have his picture
on the banknotes. He is an inspiration to
mediocre people everywhere... |

If it'd turned round I would prob have sh!t a

When you think about it Cows are pretty
good.
It would cost a fortune to make a machine
which turned grass into milk, would breed
it's own replacement AND you could eat it... |
