Please can I just warn everybody about
Chicago Rock. Esp the girls. I have heard
many many reports of drink spiking here,
including mum's having drinks spiked at their
childrens birthday parties. Its super dodgy!
Please be careful - only drink bottles, watch
them being opened by bar staff, and stick
with people you trust. Trust me, you don't
want to be in the kind of state I was in,
with noone you know around you.
Not the first time I've heard that. Take the
hint guys - it's too expensive there, the
staff are known to have spiked drinks (if
only half the rumours are true then at least
one member of staff has been sacked for it).
Don't trust anyone in there.
First time I'd heard of mums getting their
drinks spiked at childrens parties though ...
just goes to make you think it's the staff
doing it.
chicago rock where? theres one in trowbridge,
drinks will get spiked anywhere including the
one in trowbridge but thats the first time
i've heard it mentioned like its a big
problem
anyone who goes out should look after there
drinks and never drink a drink when they have
left it for even a couple of seconds
Its the Chicago Rock in Wrexham I was
referring to sorry. Of course, we should all
be aware of the potential to have drinks
spiked - but Chicago rock seems to have a lot
of "rumours" surrounding it.
I also know staff there and will not point
fingers, I'm just offering advice to those
who like to go home after a night out and
avoid Maelor - but when I had my drink
spiked, they had run out of shot glasses and
were serving everything in open whiskey
glasses, which is just so suspect.
Some of the conclusions are that most of the
allegations of drink spiking were not due to
the main drugs but from excess alcohol (but
other drugs seemed to be present). Although
not mentioned by name the study adds that two
clubs got mentioned alot.
Anywhere u go u can get spiked i worked in
chequers for 4 years an not long have quit,
but every1 thinks that chequers is dirty! it
may look old and abit wrecked but since this
place has been open we have never found 1
needle where as in liqiud find them every
week! if you don'e believe me ask the guys
that work there they have little yellow boxes
for them!!
And thats not the only club it happens
everywhere but thats a risk u really have to
take if u drink on the town otherwise get
another hobby! lol
we have a chicago rock in burton and the drug
date rape has been reported to be found in
drinks, but i wouldnt leave my drink un
attended cos some asshole would nick it

i got my drink spiked around 12 months ago
and was in chicargo rock at the time
could nt remember anything of the night
afterwards and came home wiv broken hand
OMG My boss is having a leaving do there and
I dont think I even want to go now, ive not
been before cos heard it was too expensive!

just a little note to say the they are still
spiking drinks in chicago rock.my mum went
out last nite 4 her 51st birthday with 6
close friends they had 3 drinks each and 1 of
the lady was violently ill.she was comotozed
in the corner couldnt move speak or anything
the bouncers wernt very helpful at all so my
mum n freinds all nurses took her to casualty
they are all nurses so knew something was
wrong!why do ppl get kicks out of seeing
somebody in a state like this!BE WARNED WATCH
UR DRINKS AT ALL TIMES!!! we believe its the
bar staff doing the spiking as they where
having a meal and never left there drinks
unattended!
we have had the police involved but until
they catch somebody doing it they cant do
nothing!!! i have no idea what drugs they are
using but drink spiking in wrexham is quite
common!just keep an eye on ur drinks n watch
them being made!
I was in Chicago Rock Wrexham last Wednesday
and my friends/family with me noticed how the
women always got served first. The staff
would tell the male punters that women are
first no matter how long you have been
waiting. Maybe this is so that they can
spike the drinks. The fellas never seem to
get spiked. I hate the place and only go
there cause nowhere else in Wrexham is open
on a Wednesday night and the wife always goes
there. They rip you off on the door and at
the bar. STAY AWAY is my advise, I will
never be going back ther again after this
