ive been to this house, and been inside, its
quite weird. been to a few derelict houses in
my time, but this is the creepiest. its
obviously been vandilised. but its like a
family were living there and then just
dissapeared, all the stuff from the house is
littered everywhere. howcome its not empty if
they moved out. and there wasnt a big fire
there because the house has no real fire
damage. if anyone knows this history of this
house, then please reply. its really bugging
me. i have heard rumours it was an old
nursing home. cheers, j
Its a terrible sad story. About how the
family at that house perished.
You see the Grandad was a retired miner from
the Penybwn mine.Very proud he was of his
heritage. he worked really hard and sent his
boy to Uni (Polytechnic really, but he told
everyone it was a Uni). The boy did well and
got a job as aunder assisitant librarian at
the Pontyfenwirhan Library for the afflicted.
Inevitably he turned gay and died of 'A NASTY
CHILL', but not before he fathered a spotty
pale child with crooked teeth and a wobbly
eye. This child took to bothering young
ladies outside the public lavatories in
Newport town.
Well the upshot was the entire (remaining)
family were either chased from the house one
dark night or took it upon themselves to
'work their passage' to western Supermare
where they survived selling [censored]les on
the promenade.
I was interested to read that you were
trespassing in the property and I have
forwarded your details on to the relative
authority.
I shall not mention the curse that was left
to haunt anyone who dared enter this damned
miserable place.
i take it you mean the house on the top of
belmont hill/catsash road junction. its
apparently been bought and it and the ground
around will be used for new houses i believe
it was a home of some sort in its early days
as a nipper 1960s i used to go into the
grounds as i was born in caerleon. apparently
theres nothing sinister about this location.
and i believe the ground is possibly linked
to the 2010 golf challenge
This house is so close to the Celtic Manor!!
Restore is for £5,000 and rent it during the
Ryder Cup 2010 for £20,000. See
AccommodationfortheEvent com company website
for details on how to do this.
