Well what can I say, I am 26 years old and I am divorced islamically. Being divorced at 26 can be quite daunting but I am ready to move on with my life and I intend to do so as I have been lucky enough to be given a second chance.
I was married for a year and a half and unfortunately chose the wrong partner, I have no children although I do love them! I had my civil wedding 9 months into my marriage meaning that i will be able to apply for legal divorce in March 2009 although to me this is just a formality as my religious divorce is what mattered.
I know it sounds too soon to be moving on but my marriage unfortunately was over along time before it was made official, but i am so grateful to be given a second chance and allowing me to move on without regret.
Even though i wear a headscarf i am very open with a good mix of muslim/east & western values.

i am 5'2 (without heels), i have black hair (although i wear a headscarf), Brown eyes and medium build
